Businesspeople in Alba County complained about the bureaucracy in administration, especially for accessing European funds, and the poor state of the infrastructure, which makes their activity much more difficult. The same problems were brought up by investors in Cluj and Sibiu counties, where the first debates organized as part of The Money Channel Business Tour took place.

The event brought together the most important businesspeople in the region with local and central authorities at the end of last week, in order to identify the county’s development priorities, and the problems that investors in the region are facing. Businesspeople requested that the authorities support local production, by drafting efficient strategies, which would strengthen the position on Romanian firms on the local market and boost exports.

The event which took place in Alba Iulia was organized by the Realitatea-Catavencu media group, and The Money Channel business television channel, in partnership with Alba County Council, and Alba Iulia City Hall. The next debate on The Money Channel Business Tour will take place in Galati, on 24 April.
