JTI’s regional operations run from Bucharest

The operations of Japan Tobacco International (JTI) in three countries in the region, namely Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania, will be run as of November from the company’s Bucharest office.

“The Romanian management team has much experience in the production of cigarettes. As of November, the business of the three countries will be coordinated from Bucharest,” said Pierre de Labouchere, President and CEO of JTI worlwide.

Romania’s General Manager is Martin Southgate. Labouchere confirmed that Romania is one of the top three countries in terms of JTI business importance in Southeastern Europe.
