“We are like supermarkets, when it is very hot or very cold, when it rains or snows, people do not come, according to the President of the MedLife clinic networks, Mihail Marcu.

The worst months for business are July and August, with clients return to clinics in fall.

Only clinics are impacted by the holidays. “On the real emergency and hospital segments business does not drop,” said the General Manager of Unirea Medical Center (CMU) network, Dr. Wargha Enayati. The business revives after 15 September 15. October and May are the best months of the year,” added Enayati.

The local private medical service market is worth some €300 million and is growing by some 30 percent annually. Main players are MedLife, Medsana, CMU, Hiperdia and Sanador.
