Petrom raised the price of fuel by RON 0.09 Thursday, on the heels of a rise in oil product quotations, adapted to the conditions of the Romanian market, according to a press release by the oil and gas producer. This increase affects both gasoline and diesel fuel.

New fuel prices apply to products sold by the Petrom distribution network as of 21 February 2008. Petrom had already raised the price of fuels distributed in its network by RON 0.05 on 12 February.
