Raiffeisen Leasing’s business up 64% in the first nine months of 2007

Raiffeisen Leasing IFN financed goods worth €190 million by the end of the third quarter of 2007, up 64 percent year-on-year, due to an advancing market and higher sales of trucks and utility vehicles, according to a company announcement Wednesday.

The company is a traditional lender on the truck and utility vehicle leasing market. There was also significant growth in terms of leasing of equipment due to increasing work in construction and infrastructure, and real estate leasing, following the development of this product by Raiffeisen Leasing, adds the company report.

Raiffeisen Leasing IFN, which has 16 branches and a 6.7% market share on the Romanian leasing market, has 14,000 ongoing contracts and an active portfolio worth €270 million. (NewsIn)
