Shares drop in second half of BVB session

Slips on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) were more pronounced in the second half of the session, with the BET-C composite index losing 2.32 percent. The BET-FI index, which monitors the evolution of the five financial investment companies (SIF) lost an average 1.30 percent, dragged down by the 4.05 percent drop of SIF Banat Crisana (SIF 1). The BET index, which monitors the evolution of the ten most liquid companies, lost 0.94 percent.

Banca Transilvania shares (TLV) were among the most traded, along with those of Azomures, SIF 1, SIF Moldova (SIF 2, which lost 0.92 percent) and SSIF Broker, that dropped 4.22 percent.

TLV shares generated the greatest liquidity on BVB, more than a third of total liquidity. BVB and Rasdaq liquidity amounted to RON 20.6 million (€5.5 mln).
