The most significant growth on this segment was registered in Slovenia (4.5 percent), Lithuania (3.6 percent), Poland (2.2 percent) and Romania (1.8 percent). On the contrary, industrial production declined by 4.7 percent in Greece, by 0.3 percent in Ireland and by 0.2 percent in Italy.
The industrial production index rose 3.3 percent year-on-year in the EU 27 and 3.1 percent in the euro-zone. Romania ranks seven, with 4.4 percent annual growth.
