“The criteria for granting bonuses are the performance of the organization and individual performance, with the ratio of the importance differing depending on the job,” said Oana Datki, Country Manager of the Consulteam human resource (HR) consultancy company, Mercer’s local partner.
According to the official, the performance of the organization or the business line has a greater importance at the management level, while for specialists, individual performance is more significant when calculating the final bonus. According to the study, in most cases, the employee contributes with 25 percent of the value of the medical service package.
The average value of the variable bonus at the top management level is 30 percent of the annual base salary, while for jobs in production and for specialists the value of the bonus amounts to 15 percent.
In terms of salaries, nearly 90 percent of the multinationals operating on the local market estimate an average growth rate of seven percent for next year, two percentage points over the increases forecast by companies in countries in the region.
