Most taxes and tariffs that are to be lowered or annulled following a government decision currently apply to license applications - 99 of a total 179 taxes. A further 30 are environmental taxes, according to a document quoted by NewsIn agency.
The Cabinet passed a memorandum on Wednesday regarding the lowering or annulment of 179 of the current 489 para-fiscal taxes and tariffs identified by the Finance Ministry. Authorities in charge must draft legislation to lower or annul these taxes by May 15, according to Prime Minister Emil Boc.
