“Romania has a gap of several years compared to the rest of the region and especially against Western Europe, either in terms of PCs delivered per 1,000 inhabitants or of IT manager priorities. But we are quickly catching up with other countries, because of rapid economic growth,” Gartner Romania’s Consulting&EXP Vice President, Felix Enescu.
Of the some 700,000 PCs sold last year, some 396,000 were desktop computers and a further 296,000 were notebooks.
