The industries that use call center services most are telecommunications, financial services, transport, and tourism. According to another local player, XL World, as concerns “outbound” campaigns, clients most often ask an offer based on performance, while operators taking “inbound” calls are asked to make a long-term commitment, of 3-5 years.
“If a company’s main objective is cost reduction, it will prefer to pay by the minute, depending on performance. If the main objective is externalizing the project to a specialist who guarantees the service’s quality, a fixed fee per hour is preferred,” said Roberto Montandon, Development Manager at XL World.
The trend to pay operators an hourly wage is to make work more efficient, says Vladimir Sterescu, Country Manager of Computer Generated Solutions, which owns Easy Call.
