Adobe sales in Romania exceeded €3 mln in 2007

Romsym Data sold Adobe products worth €1.26 million and expects a 50 percent increase in 2008, while IRIS Adobe sales amounted to €1.8 mln in 2007, some 75 percent higher year-on-year.

“For 2008, we expect growth at least similar to last year’s level. There is a decline in pirated software, both in terms of individual consumers and the business environment are concerned,” IRIS officials said.

In spite of these optimistic estimates by the local companies, Adobe is forecasting 30 percent growth in Romania this year, the same as for Bulgaria.
