Adobe Systems Romania plans to double the number of employees

To recruit employees, the company often uses blog posts. Adobe’s most acute employee deficit for quality control engineers and quality managers, who need to adapt to the company’s working standards.

“We feel this area is poorly represented in Romania, not only because it is not taught in schools, but because Romanian companies have a problem implementing mature methods for quality control,” says Costin.

The company encourages employees to apply for vacancies, which are first posted within the company, permitting a promotion or the opportunity to do something different inside Adobe.

“Last year, we promoted several technical leads to Project Manager positions, and shifted a few Project Managers from one project to another,” said Costin.

The Human Resource Department is currently working on defining and implementing succession plans for key positions in the company, to facilitate promotion.
