“The communication buget, including marketing and advertising, represents some 1 percent of turnover,” said Cristian Calin, Public Relations and Communication Adviser. Calin also stated that the group’s most important, Agricola International, will have net sales in 2008 worth €75 mln. He added that Agricola Bacau opted in 2007 for an advertising campaign of 70 percent TV ads, with the remaining 30 percent sampling, outdoor and print ads, and the company plans to continue this strategy in 2008. The company’s advertising agency is Tempo Advertising.
As the competition increased, Agricola Bacau was the first local company to enter the pre-cooked foods market in 2006.
The company was founded in 1992 by a local group of specialists, the Bucharest Prodexport company, and the German Moksel company.
