“I am ten times more careful about the recruitment process than before of the crisis. There are more available applicants now, but who do not meet the professional criteria. The crisis period is sometimes used to «clean» companies from employees with poor performances,” the she said.
The company currently has 21 vacancies, the lowest level in the past three years, according to the HR manager. Agricover recruited some 35 people last year. The personnel turnover halved compared to 2008, dropping six percentage points from some 15 percent, said the company official.
Agricover registered RON 85.28 million (€20 mln) in net sales in the first quarter of 2009, up 29 percent year-on-year.
