The Romanian dairy market could reach €1 billion in 2008, some 20 percent higher year-on-year. Main producers are Friesland, Dorna, Danone, Albalact and Tnuva.
Albalact posted net profit worth €262,000 in the first half of the year, seven times lower than in H1 2007. The company’s turnover rose 19 percent, to €24.26 million.
