Alsa Boutiques has seven stores, which exhibit the products of six luxury franchises: Max Mara, Ermenegildo Zegna, Pal Zileri, La Perla, Mariella Burani, and Marela.

“In 2009 we are talking about a slowdown in the growth pace, stagnation, but not a significant drop,” Rosner said.

“Max Mara and Ermenegildo Zegna are the company’s leading segments. On the other hand, we cannot compare these with the other brands in our portfolio, as these address very different demographic segments. For example, Mariella Burani is and always will be a niche brand that addresses an extremely sophisticated woman, and their number in Bucharest, regardless of the economic context, is limited,” the company official added.

The group decided to freeze its strategic development plans, due to the crisis. However, Alsa Boutiques intends to finalize projects which are now at advanced stages of development.
