“Termination call fees were established based on each operator’s costs,” said Liviu Nistoran, ANC’s President.
Officials of the top two largest operators on the local market, Orange and Vodafone, who together have some 20 million clients, consider ANC’s proposal to be discriminatory and said that tariffs for users will not drop, considering call termination fees are not symmetrical.
Nistoran said that all five mobile phone operators have a significant power on the market, so he has decided to impose tariff regulations for Cosmote, Telemobil, and RCS&RDS, for whom these regulations were not previously implemented.
