Annual inflation tempers to 8.02 percent in august

Inflation peaked in July to a 9.04 percent three-year high. In June, inflation amounted to 8.61 percent. Analysts interviewed by news agency NewsIn were estimating a 7.7-8.44 percent inflation for August. Compared to July, consumer prices went down 0.99 percent, due to a 0.9 percent decline in services prices. Non-food prices stagnated, while food prices registered a mild increase, 0.2 percent, according to INS data. Energy prices were idle, while fuels prices declined by 0.77 percent.
