Antena 1 headquarters sold

    According to information published in Romania’s official gazette, the building was valuated by SHM Smith Hodgkinson Romania at €7.6 million, and was sold to Compania de Cercetari Aplicative si Investitii SA, one of the shareholders (with a total of 1 percent of shares) of Antena 3 SA (operating the television station Antena 3 and radio station News FM), Antena 4 SA (operating Euforia Lifestyle TV) and Antena 2 SA (which operates television station Antena 2). The contract between the two companies stipulates that the building is available TV Antena 1 for a period of five years, with the possibility of extending the lease by a further two years.

“The sale was necessary to prepare the company for sale. It is likely that the building was not part of negotiations with RTL, thus being moved to another company,” said sources from the Intact Group.
