Stroe did not provide a figure, as results are being consolidated. “Clients need IT distributors with a wide product portfolio, attractive prices, and who are easy to work with. This is our vision and policy,” Stroe added.
Last year, Asbis posted €39.45 million in turnover, some 48 percent higher year-on-year and estimates €50.9 mln in business this year.
The IT distribution market is estimated to grow 10-15 percent this year, lower compared to the 20 percent growth registered in 2007, up to €1.21-1.26 billion.
Asbis’ main competitors locally are Tornado Sistems, Scop Computers, Proca Romania and Genesys Distributie.
