At the end of 2007, Asirom reported subscribed premiums worth RON 614.5 million (€167.82 mln), 2.4 percent higher year-on-year.
Asirom is the fourth-largest local insurance company, and is controlled by Vienna Insurance Group, which owns 98.46 percent of the insurer's share capital through Wiener Staedtische Versicherung.
