The company estimates some €50 million in gross subscribed premiums this year. Thus, insurance brokers will bring some €17.5 mln to Asitrans-Euroins financial results.
The insurer plans to open 50 units in franchise this year, from the current seven units. Four insurance brokers have already indicated they are interested in opening units under the Asitrans-Euroins franchise, Stan added.
The company posted some €29 mln in gross subscribed premiums in 2007, 49 percent higher than in 2006. Its market share was 1.6-1.7 percent and the company plans to increase this to up to 2.3 percent by the end of 2008.
