Asitrans-Euroins insures Veritas Panciu assets worth over €15 mln

The champagne division, wine cellars Crama Movilita and Haret, the Zabrauti, Diocheti and Razoare farms, the Veritas store, and the company’s auto park are among insured assets.

Special insurance has been contracted for the loess underground caves, supposedly belonging to voievode Stephen the Great of Moldavia (1433-1504). These have belonged to Veritas Panciu since 1949 and are used for the production of champagne.

Since 2007 Asitrans-Euroins offers insurance for crops, vineyards and fruit trees. The company extended its territorial network in Romania up to some 100 units in 2007 and plans to continue developing this through franchise in 2008 by a further 50 units.

Asitrans-Euroins became part of the Eurohold Bulgaria financial group in 2007, when the Bulgarian group took over 75 percent of Asitrans Asigurari for some €12.5 million.
