The center will include display areas for all the brands sold by the company, as well as service space and storage for spare parts.
Autoklass is expecting a 25 percent rise in sales this year, up to 2,600 units, of which 1,700 are expected to be Mercedes Benz, 700 Fords and 200 Chryslers, Jeeps and Dodges.
The car dealer owns four sales and service centers in Bucharest, one in the central city of Sibiu, and one in the southeastern city of Constanta. It is set to open another four units next year, one in Ploiesti.
Some 239,000 vehicles were sold in Romania during the first eight months of 2008, just one percent higher than in the same period last year, of which 198,934 cars, 2.9 percent lower than last year.
