AutoTest targets eight offices in Romania by the end of the year

The new units will be located in the cities of Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Arad, Constanta and Targu Mures, the company’s Technical Manager, Valeriu Moisescu, told Business Standard.

The average investment in a testing center amounts to €500,000. The centers, covering an average area of 300-500 square meters, can test between 300 and 500 cars a month.

AutoTest’s expansion plan targets cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants, Moisescu said.

Annual revenues amount to some RON 1.5 million (€420,000) per unit. Income is expected to increase 30-40 percent this year, company officials added.

AutoTest is owned by Israeli businessman Yigal Zohar, who also manages the AlfaRom Holding real estate development company, involved in projects worth €300 mln in .
