“At present, large dealers, with over 100 stores, will not take over small networks and will not be acquired by any operator. I do not think that the necessary cash is available for this. Talks with operators could take place sooner for higher commissions, considering that the more than 90 percent of a dealer’s revenues depend on the operator,” Costin Soare, Retail Manager of Avenir-Telecom, told Business Standard.
Referring to small dealers, these could conclude that they could make more money from closing the business and leasing the space to a large network, especially in small towns, according to the company official.
