Aviva Grup Romania posts 27% higher nine-month subscribed premiums this year

The company's assets hiked 44.11 percent up to 180.93 million lei in the first nine months of 2007 from the same period last year. The increase stood at almost 30 percent for subscribed gross premiums and at almost 45 percent for assets. The results are a proof the company is entering another development stage, Aviva representatives said. The first half of 2007 marked the company's debut on the optional private pensions market, Aviva being one of the first companies to enter the market.

Aviva started activity on the optional pensions market in May and in July the company obtained authorization to administer mandatory pensions too.
