Producers of fertilizers are expecting good results this year, due to increasing product prices and an agreement with the government for lower prices of Romanian produced natural gas.

The chemical plant’s turnover reached RON 314.5 mln (€85.3 mln), and it is estimating a net profit of RON 61.81 mln (€16.79 mln), 11 percent higher year-on-year, with turnover at RON 1.42 billion (€386 mln), 55 percent higher than in 2007.

The company is controlled by Luxembourg-registered Transworld Fertilizers Holding.
