Babel Communications budgets turnover worth €7.5 mln

The company’s General Manager, Calin Diaconu, explained that the year 2008 is one in which the publicity budgets of many companies will rise due to major events. “On the one hand there are the European Football Championship and the Olympic Games, and on the other this year’s elections. These events will produce general growth on the market, which will affect all players. In any case, the Romanian market has been growing naturally from one year to the next. Sports and politics will provide a significant boost for the development of advertising this year,” added Diaconu.

Babel Communications’ most recent construction market client is the Buzau-based Constam Grup, a major player on the steel-concrete and metal structure market. As of March 2008, another important new Babel client is ArcelorMittal Construction Romania. The company was established in 1998 and older construction sector clients include Henkel Romania, Policolor, Praktiker, Lasselsberger/Cesarom, Caparol-Daw Benta, Akzo Nobel, Kontirom by Arcelor Group, and Bosch.
