Badea Clifford Chance to recruit 10 graduates annually

“We recruited six interns in the past six months. We plan to attract an annual ten students in their last year or recent graduates. We are interested in having a total 50-55 lawyers by the end of 2008,” according to a statement for Business Standard by the law firm’s Human Resource Manager, Maria Dorobantu.

The company is currently involved in recruiting five last year students. The salary for entry level positions is €1,000. Wages are subject to performance, evaluated annually in the case of senior attorneys, and every six months for junior lawyers, Dorobantu said.

The law firm spends an annual €5,000 for the training of its lawyers, both locally and at the Clifford Chance Academy in several European cities.

Besides attorneys, Badea Clifford Chance is also recruiting specialists in finance, information technology, business development, public relations, administrative and human resources.

Other international law firms operating on the Romanian market are Linklaters, Salans, Cameron McKenna, and White&Case.
