Banca Transilvania, one of the top lenders locally, registered €240,000 in gross earnings in the first quarter of 2008, 98 percent lower year-on-year, according to the banks financial report.
The bank, one of the few institutions in the local banking system controlled by Romanian shareholders, is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. (NewsIn)
