Banks attracting employees from competitors for small city units

Banks opening branches in small cities are hiring the employees of their competitors, according to a report by Ernst&Young Romania advisory company.

In Bucharest, only 15-25 percent of new employees come from other banks, while in other cities banks are interested in hiring from their competitors (50 percent), says Roxana Morozan, Manager of Human Capital, Performance and Rewards at Ernst&Young.

Employees are hard to find for branches in Southern and Northern Romania, like Giurgiu, Calarasi, Caras-Severin and Satu Ma
