bauMax business up 30 percent in H1

Do-it-yourself retailer bauMax Romania posted €50 million worth of business in H1, 30 percent higher year-on-year, due to network development, company representatives told NewsIn agency. 

The company opened three new stores since November 2007. Furthermore, existing stores underwent a consolidation process, the company's Marketing Manager, Lucia Ungureanu, said. 

The company estimates some €110 million in turnover by the end of 2008, as some 50 percent of this figure was already made in the first six months. (NewsIn)
