The money will be provided through the Fund for Agricultural Investments. The Agriculture Ministry is to choose the banks that are to provide loans from this fund, with better conditions for farmers, including lower interest rates and extended time for reimbursement.
Most of the funds will go to projects approved as part of the National Program for Rural Development (PNDR), and the remainder, within the Fishing Operational Program. Beneficiaries may access structural funds to cover part of the investment project costs (50 percent usually).
