BCR has installed ATMs in all of Bucharest’s main underground stations

There is 1 ATM each in the Gara de Nord 1, Piata Romana, Piata Unirii 1, Piata Victoriei 2, Stefan cel Mare, Piata Iancului, Piata Muncii, Grozavesti, Basarab, and Dristor 1 stations, while the Armata Poporului station has two ATMs, all of which are located at the entrance to ensure maximum access.

BCR clients may withdraw cash, check their card balance, pay bills to 160 utility suppliers around the country, pay BCR loan installments, transfer funds between BCR accounts, recharge their Vodafone phone cards, change PIN numbers for BCR-issued cards, and obtain a statement for all credit card operations. The maximum amount that can be withdrawn in a single operation is RON 3,000.

BCR currently has some 1,650 automatic teller machines as part of its ATM network, and the bank claims a 25 percent market share, with 23 percent in Bucharest.

On the card segment, BCR has a share exceeding 22 percent, with over 26 percent in Bucharest. The bank presently has some 2.4 million active cards. (NewsIn)
