Affiliation to a hotel chain generates greater visibility and can attract more clients which is why this measure is one of the preferred options of the anti-crisis strategy for small three and four-star accommodation units.
The business of the hotel chain is stagnating compared to 2008, when the company posted some €12 million in turnover. Stagnation is due to a 10 percent drop in the chain’s hotels occupancy rate.
The strategy of Best Western Hotels is to continue its development process, at a rate of at least one hotel a year. Best Western Hotels Romania presently has 12 affiliated hotels and will affiliate two more by year-end.
