Significant losses were registered early yesterday, during the trading session of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), as all stock indexes dropped and liquidity was low.
Shares of financial investment companies (SIFs) registered the most significant losses, with the BET-FI index dropping by 3.03 percent. The composite index of the stock exchange was 1.82 percent lower, compared to the end of the trading session on Friday, while the BET index, of the 10 companies with the highest liquidity, plunged 2.33 percent.
Shares that were most traded belong to SIF Oltenia, with deals amounting to €0.28 million. The company's shares dropped by 2.58 percent. Stocks of banks listed on BVB also registered some 2 percent drops. The liquidity of the stock exchange only amounted to €2.3 mln.
