BET-FI maintains the highest growth

The BET-FI index, which monitors the performance of the five financial investment companies (SIF), maintained its upward trend to reach 2.2 percent by mid-session, the highest level of Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) indices.

Shares of the ten most liquid listed companies rose 2.1 percent, while the stock exchange’s BET-C composite index reached 1.8 percent.

Of the five financial investment companies, SIF Banat Crisana registered the best performance, at 2.4 percent, to RON 2.59 per share.

The most traded issuer was Banca Romana de Dezvoltare (BRD), trading shares worth €1.41 million, and a 2.5 percent rise in quotation. Erste Bank was third in terms of liquidity, trading €0.54 mln in shares. The liquidity of BVB and the electronic RASDAQ market reached €6 mln.
