He added that some 50 percent of the high risk fund could be invested on the capital market, compared to a maximum of 30 percent currently allowed by legislation, with maximum and minimum yields of 12-13 percent and 5-6 percent annually, respectively.
BRD Fond de Pensii is currently administering a medium risk fund, with assets invested in bonds (70 percent), a currency market (15 percent), and shares (15 percent).
The fund administrator's main shareholder is Sogecap, the the Societe Generale group’s life insurance company, with 51 percent, while the remaining 49 percent of shares are owned by BRD - Groupe Societe Generale.
