Broker Cluj heavy stock exchange buyer

According to company representatives, Broker Cluj was behind one third of the transactions on the stock exchange on Friday.

“We had a 21 percent market share on BVB and a 47 percent market share on the Sibiu Commodities Exchange (SIBEX). Most BVB operations were buying operations,” said Petru Prunea, President of Broker Cluj.

The value of Friday’s transactions on the two BVB markets was worth €7.6 million, while Broker Cluj operations amounted to €1.5 mln.

Broker Cluj reported yesterday that it owns a 5.15 percent share package of baked goods company Boromir Ind. Buzau, worth €1.25 mln.

The company has some RON 10 mln (almost €3 mln) for market investments from its latest capital increase.
