Brokers estimate that the stock exchange will have an important week, as a recovery would allow BVB to get back on the growth track registered earlier this year. "It's too early to say. The main impact on BVB right now is the evolution of European stock exchanges," according to brokerage company Intercapital Invest's President, Razvan Pasol.

Last week, the five BVB-listed financial investment companies (SIF) enjoyed highest liquidity. Trading of SIF shares amounted to €11.05 million, or 71 percent of total transactions. However, at Friday’s closing, the BET-FI index, of financial investment companies, registered a significant decrease compared to the previous week.

Financial analysts say the BET-FI is likely to rise this week. "I expect a slight recovery for SIF, Rompetrol Rafinare (RRC) and Petrom (SNP) shares and, overall, on shares that recently suffered the highest losses," according to Adrian Ceuca, the Deputy General Manager of investment company SSIF Broker.
