Brokers say chances are good for stock market growth in November, as this week’s deals could be made based on the optimism generated by anti-crisis measures taken worldwide.
“I expect a market revival next week (...) However, it all depends on the U.S. stock market evolution and measures taken by the U.S. authorities to save Citigroup financial giant and the auto industry,” said BRD securities Deputy General Manager, Tudor Cernica.
Indexes are currently at the same level registered in early November, as BVB quotations rose on Friday, in spite of the decline of European stock markets.
Liquidity totaled €3.6 million on BVB on Friday, of which more than half resulted from deals of shares of lender BRD Groupe Societe Generale and Romania’s largest company, oil giant Petrom.
