Bucharest bourse drops over 3%

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) is maintaining a downward trend following the 3.72 percent drop of the the BET-C composite index.
All indexes experienced similar sharp declines, dropping more than 3 percent. The BET index of the ten most important companies dropped by 3.79 percent, while BET-FI, the index of the five financial investment companies (SIF), lost 3.09 percent.
The 25 top most liquid listed companies suffered only losses. Artrom reported the most important drop, at 7 percent, to €9.86/per share, while SIF Moldova's shares lost 3.44 percent.
Transilvania Bank's shares dropped 4.03 percent, and Petrom's shares declined by 3.98 percent following a drop in the price of oil on foreign markets. (NewsIn)
