The BET-C composite index gained 1.88 percent after registering an advance of 3.5 percent at the session's opening. The BET index of listed companies with the highest liquidity, gained 2.12 percent, while the BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies (SIF) gained 1.5 percent.
The financial investment companies had the most liquid shares as trading thereof reached €2.74 million of the €4.87 mln liquidity of the main market.
The most traded issuer was SIF Oltenia, €0.57 mln, while shares increased 1.66 percent, to RON 3.67/per share.
The banking sector likewise reported significant gains, following a rise registered by Banca Transilvania, one of the largest local banks, whose shares gained 2.13 percent, up to RON 0.72/per share, and Banca Romana de Dezvoltare (BRD), up 1.02 percent, to RON 19.8/per share. Drug producer Antibiotice Iasi was one of the top winners, at 5.56 percent, with its price reaching RON 1.9/per share.
