The BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares minus investment funds fell 2.55 percent, to 6,601.13 points. The BET index tracking the market’s top ten performers lost 2.14 percent, to 9,528.39 points.
The BET-FI index assessing the five investment funds known as SIFs came within a whisker of exceeding the 2 percent limit, yet it fell 1.71 percent, to 76,319.81.
The ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna decreased 2.31 percent to 20,789.64 points.
Banca Transilvania shares lowered 2.29 percent, to 0.855 lei. The shares of BRD SocGen, Romania’s second lender by assets, decreased 3.46 percent, to 25.10 lei per share.
SIF Oltenia shares went down 1.89 percent, to 4.16 lei. The shares of SIF Moldova lost 2.01 percent, tp 3.42 lei.
Rompetrol Rafinare shares dipped 1.82 percent, to 0.108 lei and the shares of Romania’s No.1 oil company Petrom lowered 1.92 percent, to 0.51 lei.
