Bucharest Stock Exchange indexes start week low, European stocks fell

The BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares minus investment funds fell 1.16 percent, the BET index tracking the market’s top ten performers lost 0.71 percent. The BET-FI index assessing the five investment funds known as SIFs dropped 0.79 percent.

SIF Oltenia (SIF5) fell 0.75 percent to 3.99 lei while the shares of SIF Banat – Crisana (SIF1) dipped 0.31 percent, to 3.23 lei.

The shares of Romania’s fifth lender Banca Transilvania (TLV) remained stagnate at 0.835 lei. Broker Cluj (BRK) shares lowered 11.95 percent, to 2.58 lei. The shares of Romania’s power transportation company Transelectrica lowered 7.86 percent, to 34 lei.
