The BET-C index assessing all listed shares minus investment funds dipped 0.80 percent and the BET index tracking the market’s ten top performers went down 0.56 percent. The BET-FI index measuring the five investment funds known as SIFs decreased 1.11 percent. The ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna fell 0.79 percent.
SIF Moldova shares rank first amongst the most traded shares yet they lost 1.97 percent, to 2.99 lei. The shares of SIF Oltenia (SIF5) ranked second, lowering 0.52 percent, to 3.8 lei. BRD SocGen, the country’s second largest bank by assets, saw shares were sluggish at 23.6 lei, down 0.84 percent. The shares of Banca Transilvania, Romania’s fifth lender by assets, fell 1.21 percent to 0.815 lei.
