“You should take responsibility at government level for the way you have managed, as of December, to handle the current crisis we are facing, not at all favorably, I think, and rapidly resort to measures to solve or ease the current situation,” Iosif Pop, Chairman of the Imofinance group, told Mircea Geoana, President of the Senate.
Dorel Goia, Chairman of Magis Investment, said that companies in which he is a shareholder are trying to adapt to the current economic situation. He added that accessing European funds could be a good financing solution, especially now, when banks are reluctant to unblock lending.
This debate was the first in The Money Channel Business Tour project, which aims to facilitate the dialogue between authorities and the business community, in order to assess the effects of the crisis on the region, and to identify the priorities and solutions which will help the region to overcome the current economic context.
