The BET-FI index of financial investment companies (SIF) rose 2.67 percent by noon, slightly lower than the 3 percent increase early in the trading session. The composite BET-C index went up 1.18 percent, while the BET index, of the top 10 companies in terms of liquidity, gained 1.57 percent.
Companies with highest liquidity yesterday were the SIFs, Banca Transilvania and Transgaz. This was the first trading session for newly-listed Transgaz stock, with shares dropping 5.94 percent, as analysts had predicted.
